Job Summary:
The Business Development Associate is responsible for driving and expanding the market reach of GBF Technical Training Center (TTC) through strategic partnerships, client acquisition initiatives, customized training solutions, and new business opportunities. The role combines partnership management, market research, and stakeholder engagement to strengthen TTC's position as a leading provider of workforce development and technical training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase enrollment, and market presence.
- Identify opportunities for customized corporate training, workforce development programs, and industry collaborations.
- Generate and manage a pipeline of corporate accounts and institutional clients.
- Achieve agreed business development and targets.
Market Expansion
- Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a database of manufacturing companies, business organizations, and industry stakeholders.
- Analyze workforce trends and recommend new training programs based on market demand.
Strategic Partnerships and Client Development
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, educational institutions, and industry groups.
- Conduct business presentations, networking activities, and stakeholder engagements.
- Negotiate and facilitate business partnerships and training agreements.
Training Program Promotion
- Collaborate with Communications and Academic teams to promote TTC programs and services.
- Represent TTC at industry events, conferences, trade fairs, and stakeholder meetings.
- Support initiatives that increase awareness and participation in Technical Short Courses and scholarship programs.
Program and Operations Coordination
- Coordinate with Academic and Operations teams regarding client requirements, training schedules, implementation, and reporting.
- Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for program enhancement.
- Support billing, collection follow-ups, and revenue realization efforts.
Reporting and Performance Management
- Track business development activities, partnership outcomes, and revenue contributions.
- Prepare regular business development reports and market intelligence updates.
- Maintain accurate CRM and stakeholder engagement records.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Industrial Engineering, Education, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in business development, corporate sales, strategic partnerships, account management, market development, or commercial operations.
- Experience developing and managing corporate accounts and business opportunities.
- Experience in education, technical training, workforce development, consulting, HR services, manufacturing, or B2B services is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in achieving business growth, sales, or partnership targets.
