What a Business Development Specialist Looks Forward to Doing Well

Business Development is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the organization through strategic business initiatives and partnerships. This role plays a crucial part in identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with clients, and contributing to the overall success of the company.

What You Will Do

The Business Development Specialist focuses on lead generation, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to build a strong client base. They work to close deals by nurturing relationships, negotiating terms, and ensuring successful client onboarding.

  • Lead Generation and Pipeline Management:
  • Generates and qualifies leads through various channels including networking, cold calling, field visits, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure that the sales pipeline has regular touchpoints to maintain consistent client engagement and follow-up.
  • Conduct field day activities twice a week to engage with potential clients and expand the customer base
  • Focus on Expanding in Metro Manila while Maintaining Market Leadership in Visayas and Mindanao
  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
  • Stays updated on market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities.
  • Suggests new potential strategic locations and segments for expansion.
  • Supports achievement of market leadership through innovation, retention, & product development
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure long-term satisfaction, retention, and secure future expansion.
  • Facilitates contract negotiations, with or without the help of the manager, ensuring favorable terms and the development of strong partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce additional products or services that align with client needs, contributing to increased revenue.
  • Proactively understand client requirements and address any concerns or challenges to ensure their needs are met. Ensures partner satisfaction and loyalty
  • AI Integration and Upskilling Opportunities:
  • Supports the organization with AI integration initiatives to enhance business development processes and workflows.
  • Encourages tech adoption and upskills team members for future-readiness. Contributes to enhanced service delivery and business growth through automation and data usage

Why You

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or other related fields is required.

Knowledge: Knowledge of business development processes, sales strategies, and market research techniques. Familiarity with AI tools for business development is a plus.

Minimum Experience: At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within a related industry. Experience with lead generation, pipeline management, and client relationship management is essential.
