About the Role
This part-time Research/BDR role is a hybrid position combining research and business development. You will build and manage a database of U.S. small business leads, conduct prospecting and outbound outreach, and help convert qualified leads into booked meetings.
Mission of the Role
Own topoffunnel outreach to U.S. small businesses (< $5M revenue) across diverse industries, generating qualified conversations and converting prospects into booked meetings for our fractional CFO and financial operations services.
Core Responsibilities & Weekly Outputs
- 40% Prospect & Research: Source 200250 new U.S. business leads under $5M revenue and upload to HubSpot with clean contact data.
- 40% Outbound Outreach: 80-100 dials + 50 personalized emails/DMs per day using multi-channel sequences.
- 15% Qualify & Book Meetings: 8-15 qualified meetings per week; log notes & next steps in CRM.
- 5% Continuous Improvement: Weekly KPI report; script, listquality, and messaging recommendations.
Success Metrics
- 10-15 qualified meetings booked each week.
- Consistent pipeline of small U.S. businesses (< $5M) progressing to discovery.
- Show rate 75%, qualification rate 65%.
- CRM data hygiene 95%.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years outbound SDR/BDR experience selling to U.S. SMBs.
- Fluent, neutral U.S. English; strong communication and objectionhandling skills.
- Proven highvolume outreach performance.
- Proficiency in HubSpot, Apollo, and modern outbound tools.
- Strong research and personalization ability.
- Bonus: experience selling financial or professional services.
Working Hours
- Core overlap: 9 AM - 5 PM Eastern Standard Time, Mon-Fri; remainder flexible.
