The Role
- Builds, maintains, and updates detailed financial models for renewable energy projects, including project cash flows, sensitivity analyses, and valuation metrics (IRR, NPV, payback, etc.)
- Conducts market intelligence and benchmarking on renewable energy trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity in the region
- Supports screening of potential sites, partners, and acquisition opportunities
- Coordinates and gathers data for technical, legal, and financial due diligence
- Reviews key project documents and liaise with internal departments (finance, engineering, legal) and external advisors as required
- Tracks project timelines and deliverables to ensure smooth execution
- Maintains the internal project pipeline and investment opportunity tracker
- Supports the preparation of reports for management
The Individual
- Graduate of Engineering, Management, or a related field/discipline
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in business development, investment banking, consulting, or project analysis, preferably in the renewable energy sector
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial modelling templates is preferred
- Familiarity with renewable energy economics, power markets, or project finance concepts
- Strong understanding of financial metrics and valuation concepts
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions
- Willing to be based in Makati City
