About the Role
The Business Development team supports SBC TAMG by executing key projects, systems plans, and marketing initiatives to strengthen brand trust and product visibility. It develops strategies to boost market presence, improve processes for client ease, and manage budget-related matters. The Business Development Officer plays a central role in promoting TAMG's products and services to internal partners and customers, primarily through digital content, market updates, and visibility initiatives. The officer also manages webinars, social media campaigns, and prepares presentations for senior management, the Trust Committee, and the Board. Additionally, the role involves assisting in special projects such as M&A, supporting product development, crafting policies, and ensuring all TAMG web pages and product kits remain updated.
How you'll contribute
- Creating and establishing new UITF variants and/or amending Key Specifications of the UITFs;
- Recommending new trust products that are not yet offered or amendments to the key features of trust products provided new trust products or key changes are in accordance with BSP regulations;
- Creating Product Content; Developing, implementing and maintaining a robust marketing program and online initiatives for existing products;
- Conducting market scan, ascertaining market sentiment and trends to keep own trust products and/or brand visibility relevant and competitive and likewise, to identify market opportunities for investment products and basis for targeted marketing initiatives.
- All budget and actual performance of TAMG versus budget related reports of the group;
- Coordinating with e-Commerce on TAMG product related requests to post in the Bank's website and/or apply changes, corrections, updates and/or enhancements on trust products posted / included in the corporate website; and
- Collaborating with e-Commerce on any TAMG initiatives that would entail insertion in the corporate website or clients using the corporate website for any trust related initiatives.
- Do all necessary following the Bank's Product and Services Framework Policies;
- Present to the Trust Committee for approval and thereafter, to the Board, the latter when required;
- Oversee, as may be assigned, the front-to-end User Acceptance Testing on all systems that will be utilized;
- Draft Policies and Processes and insert the same in the Trust Manual, UITF Manual and/or Trust Risk Manual, as applicable;
- Prepare product content and/or marketing campaign if and when applicable;
- Provide assistance to the GH and/or Sales Head in their conduct of product presentation / training within TAMG as well as to partners in the Bank that includes Wealth Management and Branches;
- Conduct internal huddles / training within TAMG to prepare the team in terms of fund management (for Investments), explaining the new trust product or changes in existing products as applicable.
- Design Product Content and shared with partners, customers and posted in the Bank's social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) as well as in the corporate website.
- Provide Market Updates covering either fixed income, equities, macro-economic and such other information that is deemed to be relevant to customers in relation to their existing investments with any of TAMG's products or raise interest in the investment products.
What we're looking for
- Strong digital design and marketing skills and experience;
- Project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts and also in crafting narratives in product contents;
- Experience with bank, financial / fintech services industries is preferred.
