Job Summary

The Business Development Officer is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting PRDC's services. This role focuses on client acquisition, market expansion, and ensuring long-term partnerships with key accounts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities across targeted industries
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging industry trends
  • Actively prospect through cold calls, emails, networking, and referrals
  • Set and attend client meetings to present PRDC service offerings

2. Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Prepare and present customized proposals and service packages
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company policies
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Serve as the main point of contact for client concerns and requirements
  • Coordinate with operations and recruitment teams to ensure service delivery
  • Conduct regular client visits and satisfaction checks

4. Account Management & Retention

  • Monitor existing accounts for upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Ensure contract renewals and prevent client attrition
  • Address client issues proactively to maintain high satisfaction levels

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in sales or business development (preferably in general services)
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
