  • Graduate of Business related course
  • At least 23 years of proven experience in Business Development and Sales
  • Experience in Real Estate, Insurance, or Pre-need services is highly preferred.
  • An existing network of contacts or experience in community organizing is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Computer literate

Job Description

Prospective (hunting for opportunities)

Without the prompting of any offer, the BDO studies the landscape of the country, finding cities or towns that will offer the best business opportunity for the Eternal Group.

  • The BDO will review the demographics of several locations or regions as mandated by management.
  • The BDO studies each region for the existence and performance of competitors in each product line.
  • The BDO analyzes the potential of developing a wide network of sales force.
  • The BDO analyzes the behavior of the market when it comes to each memorial product business.
  • Upon satisfying the first 4 requirements, search for a suitable land or business acquisition or form joint ventures.

Opportunistic (studying business offers)

The BDO should be able to place himself in the market place and receive good business opportunity offers in the process.

Moreover, the BDO should have an eye in seeing new business opportunities (outside the workings of the Eternal Group) and make recommendations based on study.

The BDO Should Have

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills crucial for market interactions and internal collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to understand market trends and evaluate business opportunities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Has clear understanding of business operations and strategy.
  • Has the ability to negotiate.
