TFC CAPITAL (PHILIPPINES), INC. (TFCCP)is a corporate finance adviser involved in fund raising (debt, equity, or partnership) for Philippine corporates and selectively Non-Philippine transactions via the shareholders connections.

Fund sourcing is primarily cross-border, and to a lesser extent, domestic.

Role Description

Prior to COVID, TFCCP was fully active but essentially scaled down during the pandemic lockdown. Post the pandemic, the shareholders decided to focus mainly on their other business, a Philippines finance company. TFCCP only handled the occasional opportunistic transactions handled by one staff.

Now, the shareholders want to ramp up the TFCCP adviser business again and therefore seeking an appropriate candidate to take the lead on this project.

Preferred background of the person:

Qualifications

5 years experience in a finance related business

Specific experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or financial advisory roles is required

A good personal network

Personal network must include corporate executives, financial institutions, and investment funds

Knowledge of debt and equity structures

Advanced expertise in debt and equity structures is essential

Negotiation skills

Relationship management skills

Experience with cross border capital flows, preferred but not essential

Good English language understanding and communication

Business level English proficiency is required for effective communication

A person who can get a good level of success from phone follow up

Able to work autonomously and meet timelines required to close transactions
