Senior Business Development Manager – Philippines

Location: Philippines (Preferably Metro Manila)

As part of its continued expansion in the Philippines, the company is seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead business growth and strengthen its presence in the local market.

Job Overview

The Senior Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving business growth and market expansion within the Philippine BFSI sector. The role involves developing strategic client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning the company's technology and digital solutions to key decision-makers across banking and financial institutions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in enterprise technology sales, business development, and stakeholder management within the BFSI industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute market penetration and growth strategies within the Philippine BFSI sector.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with banks, financial institutions, and enterprise clients.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, executives, and decision-makers.

  • Understand client business requirements and position tailored technology and digital solutions accordingly.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.

  • Monitor industry trends, market movements, competitor activities, and regulatory updates within the BFSI landscape.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Presales, Delivery, Product, and Marketing to ensure successful client engagement and project delivery.

  • Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and contract management activities with prospective clients.

  • Provide regular business updates, sales forecasts, and pipeline reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or any related field. MBA is an advantage but not required.

  • At least 10 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or account management within the BFSI industry.

  • Strong network and existing relationships with major banks and financial institutions in the Philippines.

  • Proven experience selling technology, software development, digital transformation, AI, cloud, or enterprise solutions.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to manage complex enterprise sales cycles.

  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally as needed.
