Position Summary
SID Global is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager / Account Manager to lead business growth initiatives, manage strategic client relationships, and expand the company's footprint across the Philippines market.
The role is responsible for driving revenue generation through new client acquisition, account growth, customer retention, and strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, helping them achieve their business objectives through SID Global Solutions portfolio of services including Staff Augmentation, Managed Testing Services, Application Development, Platform Engineering, Digital Transformation, Cloud Solutions, Data & Analytics, Quality Engineering, and Managed Services.
This position requires a strong consultative sales approach, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to engage with C-level executives, business leaders, procurement teams, and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across enterprise, banking, financial services, insurance, fintech, telecommunications, healthcare, and other key industries within the Philippines.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Generate and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, market intelligence, and partner ecosystems.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles from opportunity identification through proposal submission, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
- Conduct discovery meetings, solution presentations, workshops, and executive-level discussions to understand customer challenges and business objectives.
- Position SIDGS capabilities and value proposition to address client requirements and digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to develop tailored solutions and commercial proposals.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
Strategic Account Management
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned strategic and enterprise accounts.
- Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and executive sponsors.
- Develop and execute account growth strategies to maximize customer lifetime value.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expansion of existing engagements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive account plans including revenue targets, stakeholder maps, risk assessments, and growth initiatives.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive engagement and continuous relationship management.
- Act as a customer advocate within the organization and facilitate resolution of business or delivery-related issues.
Client Success & Executive Engagement
- Understand client business goals, strategic priorities, and technology roadmaps.
- Align SID Global solutions and services with client objectives to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Executive Business Reviews (EBRs), and account performance assessments.
- Collaborate with delivery, operations, and leadership teams to ensure successful project execution and service excellence.
- Drive customer retention through continuous value realization and strong partnership management.
- Maintain executive-level engagement with customer leadership teams and key stakeholders.
Staff Augmentation & Managed Services Growth
- Lead business development efforts for Staff Augmentation, Managed Testing Services, Managed Delivery, and Professional Services engagements.
- Understand workforce requirements and identify opportunities to provide specialized technology talent.
- Partner with recruitment and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment of client requirements.
- Manage resource-related discussions, contract renewals, rate negotiations, and workforce expansion opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to transition staff augmentation engagements into larger managed service or project-based engagements.
Proposal Management & Commercial Negotiations
- Lead proposal development, Statements of Work (SOW), Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Quotation (RFQ) responses.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to develop competitive and compelling commercial proposals.
- Manage pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions with customers and procurement teams.
- Ensure proposals align with company profitability objectives and customer expectations.
- Support legal and procurement processes through contract execution.
Revenue Forecasting & Business Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and CRM records.
- Monitor account performance, revenue attainment, profitability, and customer engagement metrics.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews to management.
- Track opportunities, risks, market developments, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Provide visibility into pipeline health and future revenue projections.
Leadership & Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with executive leadership to define go-to-market strategies and growth plans.
- Collaborate with recruitment, delivery, finance, operations, and marketing teams to ensure seamless customer engagement.
- Provide market intelligence and customer insights to support business strategy and service development.
- Mentor junior sales and account management team members when required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across sales and customer engagement processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, Client Partner, or Strategic Relationship Management roles.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Extensive experience managing enterprise and strategic customer accounts.
- Experience selling IT Services, Digital Transformation, Consulting, Staff Augmentation, Managed Services, Application Development, Cloud Solutions, Data & Analytics, or Quality Engineering services is a plus.
- Experience engaging with Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), FinTech, and enterprise customers is highly preferred.
- Strong experience working within the Philippines market and ASEAN region.
