About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager with experience in selling recruitment or staffing services to international clients, particularly in the US and UK markets.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, generating qualified leads, engaging with decision-makers, and converting prospects into long-term recruitment partnerships. This role requires a strong understanding of recruitment services, hiring requirements, and consultative sales.
You will work closely with our recruitment team in India to understand client requirements and ensure successful delivery of talent solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities with companies in the US, UK, and other international markets.
- Conduct lead generation through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and digital platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Engage with decision-makers including HR leaders, hiring managers, and founders to understand hiring needs.
- Present and explain the company's recruitment and staffing services to prospective clients.
- Evaluate whether leads are qualified prospects and capable of becoming long-term clients.
- Schedule and conduct sales calls and client meetings to convert leads into recruitment projects.
- Work closely with internal recruiters to translate client hiring requirements into actionable recruitment mandates.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Track leads, conversations, and deals using CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Stay updated with recruitment trends and hiring demand in international markets.
Required Experience & Skills
- 25+ years of experience in business development or sales within the recruitment or staffing industry.
- Proven experience selling recruitment services or staffing solutions to clients.
- Experience working with international markets (US / UK preferred).
- Strong ability to generate leads and qualify prospects.
- Experience conducting sales calls and closing recruitment deals.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in US or UK time zones when required.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working remotely.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with recruitment agencies or staffing firms.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM tools, or lead generation platforms.
- Understanding of recruitment processes and hiring cycles across international markets.
- Experience working in remote or global teams.
