The opportunity
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating revenue growth by identifying, shaping, and securing new business opportunities across digital transformation, cloud computing, and AI-driven solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, translating their strategic objectives into tailored, high-impact technology consulting engagements. This is a high-visibility role that combines strategic thinking, client relationship management, and solution innovation to drive business success in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Your key responsibilities
You will lead the development and execution of business development strategies to drive revenue growth in digital, cloud, and AI consulting. This includes identifying new opportunities, engaging with key stakeholders, and delivering tailored solutions that address client needs. You'll champion innovation throughout the pursuit process, ensuring proposals and presentations are differentiated and aligned with SGV's strategic goals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure high-quality delivery while mentoring others and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

- Sales Enablement & Pipeline Management: Drive the end-to-end sales lifecyclefrom lead generation and qualification to proposal development and deal closure. Support the creation of compelling business cases, pricing models, and revenue forecasts.
- Thought Leadership & Brand Representation: Represent the organization at industry conferences, forums, and networking events to enhance brand visibility, build thought leadership, and uncover new business opportunities.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to sales and pursuit teams. Champion best practices in client engagement, proposal development, and CRM utilization to ensure operational excellence.
- Quality Assurance & Client Communication: Ensure all client-facing materialsincluding proposals, presentations, and qualification documentsare of the highest quality, aligned with brand standards, and tailored to client needs.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. An MBA or a Master's degree in a technical discipline is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or client engagement within IT services, SaaS, AI, or cloud-based solution environments.
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/ML technologies, and digital transformation frameworks. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
- Demonstrated success in consultative selling, with a proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals and building long-term client relationships.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Strong strategic mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
