About the Role:
We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager (Sales) to join our team and lead GT Rentals PH's revenue growth and client acquisition efforts. This role is focused on aggressive sales execution, pipeline development, and deal closure, with accountability for meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
The Business Development Manager will own the end-to-end sales cyclefrom lead generation to closingwhile building long-term partnerships across corporate, commercial, and institutional clients. You will work closely with the Marketing and Operations teams and report directly to company leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive new revenue generation through active prospecting, lead qualification, and deal closing.
- Develop and execute sales-driven, results-oriented strategies to consistently achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including presentations, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate leasing, transport services, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate clients, hotels, travel agencies, and business partners.
- Expand GT Rentals PH's client base through outbound sales efforts, networking, and referrals.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and refine sales approaches.
- Provide insights to management on pricing, customer needs, and emerging market trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Marketing to support lead generation campaigns and B2B sales initiatives.
- Work closely with Operations to ensure smooth onboarding, service delivery, and client satisfaction.
- Represent the company in sales meetings, presentations, and industry networking events.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records using CRM tools.
- Provide regular reports on pipeline status, closed deals, revenue performance, and forecasts.
- Take ownership of sales outcomes and continuously improve performance metrics.
Qualifications
Technical Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 35 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in car rental, leasing, automotive, transport, or travel industries is an advantage.
- Familiarity with PHILGEPS bidding processes is a plus but not the primary focus of the role.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
