Job Description

  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities in ocean freight forwarding, focusing on high‑value accounts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle including lead generation, cold calling, solution design, negotiation, closing, and handover to operations.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, RFIs, and RFQs in collaboration with internal pricing and operations teams.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline while consistently achieving and exceeding assigned sales and profit targets.
  • Coordinate new customer implementation including solution design, SOP development, cost analysis, contracting, and project execution.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, and commercial discussions to build long‑term partnerships.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure service delivery meets customer and operational requirements.

The Successful Applicant

Non‑Negotiables

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related logistics discipline.
  • 5-8 proven in 3PL sales, freight forwarding, or contract logistics.
  • Demonstrated success in ocean freight sales with a track record of closing large accounts generating USD 70-80K monthly revenue from a client.
  • Full‑cycle sales from prospecting to deal closure and operational handover.
  • Strong hunter mindset with the ability to onboard new revenue quickly.

Good‑to‑Haves

  • Established client network within freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain, warehousing, and transportation solutions.
  • Engaging decision‑makers and C‑level stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
