Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction industry
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, developers, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., project management, engineering, finance) to ensure client needs are met
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with company goals
  • Monitor project progress and client satisfaction to ensure long-term partnerships
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project lifecycle, and industry regulations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Skills:

  • Existing network of contacts in the construction industry
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong presentation and proposal writing skills
