Job Description

Marney Industries Corporation is looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Associate to support the company's sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building client relationships, and assisting in the preparation of project proposals and presentations. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is highly organized, and is eager to develop a career in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research, networking, referrals, and online platforms.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, contractors, architects, consultants, and project owners.

Assist in preparing project proposals, quotations, presentations, and bidding requirements.

Conduct client meetings, site visits, and project presentations as required.

Coordinate with the Estimating, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure timely submission of proposals.

Monitor upcoming construction projects, tenders, and market trends.

Maintain an updated database of clients, leads, and project opportunities.

Follow up on submitted proposals and negotiate with prospective clients when necessary.

Prepare weekly and monthly sales and business development reports.

Represent the company during industry events, meetings, and networking activities.

Perform other related duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or any related field.

At least 1–2 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or Marketing, preferably in the construction industry.

Fresh graduates with strong communication and sales aptitude are encouraged to apply.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Able to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.

Willing to travel for client meetings and site visits.

Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
