Job Description

Role Summary:

The Business Development Associate supports the acquisition and growth of B2B clients for market research and strategy consulting services across the Philippines and selected Asia Pacific markets.

This role is responsible for assisting in key stages of the business development process, including lead identification and qualification, proposal support, prospect coordination, and client relationship development. The Business Development Associate works closely with senior business development and consulting team members to help drive new opportunities and build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the sales team throughout the sales process, including lead qualification, scheduling and participating in discovery calls, assisting in company portfolio presentations, and coordinating after-sales follow-up and client communications

• Assist in promoting market research and strategy consulting services by learning client needs and helping align solutions with their business objectives, under the guidance of senior team members

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, proposals, and sales materials, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements

• Participate in sales meetings and pitches, support project scoping activities, and help build positive relationships with clients and key stakeholders

• Maintain and update client and prospect information in CRM systems to ensure accurate tracking of opportunities and sales activities

• Support the team at industry events, expos, trade shows, and conferences as needed, supporting lead generation, networking, and brand visibility efforts

• Assist in identifying new business opportunities, potential partnerships, and market leads through research and outreach activities

Qualifications:

·     Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

·     At least 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or a related commercial role (experience in market research/consulting field is a plus)

·     With good command of written and spoken English communication skills

·     Proficient in CRM tools such as Zoho, Salesforce, or HubSpot

·     Good organizational and time-management skills

·     Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

·     Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment
