Job Description

Office Location: UB Plaza - 26F Pasig (Headquarters)

Position description:

1. Requirements Gathering and Documentation

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document requirements for key initiatives, including:

**Data Archiving Standard: Define archiving parameters, retention policies, and compliance criteria.

**Formalizing Patch Management: Develop clear patch management processes, schedules, and approval workflows.

**SDLC Playbook Creation: Outline standardized software development life cycle practices.

**Product Owner (PO) Framework: Clarify roles, responsibilities, and governance models for product owners.

Convert business requirements into comprehensive user stories, process flows, and functional documentation.

Capture non functional requirements where appropriate and incorporate them in the user stories.

2. Supporting Testing and Quality Uplift

Work with QA teams to enhance testing capabilities and standards by:

**Uplifting Testing Skills: Identify current skill gaps and collaborate with training resources to develop targeted improvement plans.

**Regression Test Suite: Define regression testing scope, priorities, and test case documentation.

**iUAT2 Environment Enhancement: Document requirements to align iUAT2 with production environments, ensuring consistency and reliability.

Monitor progress, ensuring all testing objectives support overall resilience and performance goals.

3. Performance and Infrastructure Initiatives

Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to support:

**AWS Performance Testing Environment: Gather and document technical requirements, configuration details, and implementation timelines.

Facilitate workshops and discussions to align teams on infrastructure objectives, milestones, and acceptance criteria.

4. Process Analysis and Improvement

Evaluate current processes and workflows to identify gaps and inefficiencies in testing, patch management, and SDLC practices.

Recommend and document process improvements to bolster resilience, reliability, and operational excellence.

5. Reporting and Stakeholder Communication

Develop dashboards, reports, and updates that track the progress of key initiatives.

Communicate project status, potential risks, and milestones to stakeholders and senior leaders.

Lead cross functional meetings to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • In this role, the Business Analyst will partner closely with technical teams, product owners, and stakeholders to define requirements, streamline processes, and ensure the successful delivery of key initiatives. Your work will include implementing standards, frameworks, and testing capabilities aligned with our reliability and resilience objectives. You will be working with both the Retail and Commercial banking parts of the organization. You will be instrumental in projects such as defining data archiving standards, enhancing testing environments, creating a comprehensive SDLC playbook, and establishing AWS performance testing capabilities. Through these initiatives, you will help ensure that our technology landscape consistently meets both business objectives and technical quality standards.

Educational qualifications preferred
