A Business Analyst is responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing information systems to support efficient operations and datadriven decisionmaking within the organization. The role involves maintaining databases, generating reports, improving system processes, and ensuring that accurate and timely information is available to management.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Analysis: Gather data from various project teams and sources to track project performance.
Report Creation: Develop detailed and executive-level reports on project progress, risks, issues, and resource utilization.
Dashboard Management: Maintain and update project dashboards to provide a visual representation of key metrics and performance indicators.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that projects adhere to the defined processes and standards.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status and performance to stakeholders through regular updates and reports.
Support Decision Making: Provide insights and data to help senior management make informed decisions about projects and resource allocation.
Tool Management: Manage and maintain project management tools and software used for reporting and tracking.
In a BPO environment, the focus might also include:
- SLA: Tracking and reporting on SLA compliance.
- Cost Management: Monitoring project costs and ensuring they stay within budget.
- Process Improvement: Identifying and recommending process improvements based on data analysis.
- Resource Management: Reporting on resource allocation and utilization across various projects
Qualifications:
Good communication skills
knowledge of reporting tools is a plus
Good Understanding of Reporting Function and should have good working experience in reporting functions in previous roles
Experienced and effective in conflict resolution and relationship management
