Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process analysis.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate with business users, developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the software development and implementation lifecycle.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Support software implementation projects, including requirements validation, solution assessment, UAT coordination, and deployment readiness.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions to clarify business needs, resolve requirement gaps, and manage changes in project scope.
- Develop process flows, business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), and other relevant project documentation.
- Assist in testing activities by validating requirements, reviewing test scenarios, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Monitor project requirements and ensure that delivered solutions align with agreed business objectives and specifications.
- Provide regular updates on requirements status, issues, risks, and dependencies to project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 3–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation.
- Exposure to software implementation or IT-related projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in IT consulting, enterprise systems, banking, or financial services.
- Exposure to system integration, process improvement, or enterprise software implementation.
- Relevant Business Analysis certifications, such as ECBA, CCBA, or CBAP, are an advantage.
