Business Analyst (Banking/Financial Services)

Midshift schedule (3pm -12am)

Key Responsibilities

·       Analyze and document current-state business processes, workflows, data flows, accounting processes, and reporting requirements.

·       Identify process variations and gaps across products, business desks, legal entities, and regions.

·       Support the design and implementation of the target operating model (TOM).

·       Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, process maps, and functional specifications.

·       Facilitate workshops and discussions with business and technical stakeholders.

·       Support solution and gap analysis to align business requirements with global standards.

·       Participate in UAT planning and execution, requirements traceability, defect resolution, and business validation.

·       Maintain RAID logs and support implementation readiness, including procedures, training materials, and go-live documentation.

·       Ensure appropriate testing evidence, stakeholder approvals, and business readiness before implementation.

Qualifications and Requirements

·       Has extensive pofessional experience, including substantial Business Analysis or operating model experience in banking or regulated financial services.

·       Strong knowledge of investment banking products and front-to-back banking transaction lifecycles.

·       Experience with Finance processes, accounting, reporting, and control frameworks.

·       Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation, process mapping, and gap analysis.

·       Experience supporting large-scale transformation, data migration, or regulatory change initiatives.

·       Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

·       Experience with UAT, requirements traceability, implementation readiness, and cross-functional coordination.

Preferred Experience

·       Exposure to derivatives, prime services/brokerage, regulatory reporting, capital/Basel reporting, risk, treasury, or Finance transformation.

·       Knowledge of data lineage, data governance, end-of-day processing, or Axiom reporting.

·       Experience supporting legal-entity, product, desk, or regional rollouts.
