Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Cards domain expertise to lead end-to-end testing and validation for card processing systems within a banking environment.
The role requires deep understanding of card issuing and acquiring ecosystems, along with hands-on exposure to FIS Cortex and integration with Worldline / ATOS payment platforms.
The candidate will drive test strategy, execution governance, and transaction validation, while collaborating closely with business, technology, and vendor teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Leadership & Governance:
- Define and drive end-to-end test strategy across SIT, Integration Testing, and UAT
- Lead test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting
- Ensure complete coverage of card transaction lifecycle (authorization, clearing, settlement)
- Manage multi-system test coordination and integration validation
Transaction Validation:
- Validate real-time transactions across POS, ATM, and E-commerce channels
- Ensure accuracy of approvals, declines, reversals, refunds, and chargebacks
- Validate message flows across payment networks and switching systems
Platform & Integration:
- Provide SME support on FIS Cortex platform
- Validate integrations with Worldline / ATOS and other payment systems
- Ensure testing coverage across:
- Core Banking Systems
- Fraud Systems
- Payment Gateways
- Settlement & Reconciliation Systems
Business Analysis:
- Translate business requirements into test scenarios
- Participate in requirement discussions and stakeholder alignment
- Ensure traceability between requirements and test coverage
- Support SIT and UAT validation cycles
Required Experience:
- 1014 years in Banking & Payments testing (Cards domain)
- Strong experience in card issuing and acquiring systems
- Hands-on experience with FIS Cortex
- Experience with Worldline / ATOS switching platforms
- Expertise in SIT, Integration Testing, and UAT
- Experience handling complex multi-system integrations
Domain Expertise:
- Card lifecycle: Authorization, Clearing, Settlement
- POS / ATM / E-commerce transaction flows
- Chargeback & dispute lifecycle
- Payment switching & routing
- Scheme standards: Visa / Mastercard
Preferred:
- Experience in card platform migration/implementation projects
- Exposure to scheme certification programs
- Experience in multi-vendor banking environments
