We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst specializing in Insurance, specifically in Life & Credit, Group Policy, and Health sectors within the Southeast Asia region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and a proven track record in business analysis to help drive strategic initiatives and improve operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities
Role: Insurance Business Analyst with Policy Admin Experience
Location: Manila, PH
- Work with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and document business requirements acrossGroup Policy Administration (Life & Credit Life).
- Lead and supportclaims transformation programs, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and customer experience objectives.
- Analyze existing processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flows, and user stories for technology teams.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct workshops, walkthroughs, and training sessions with stakeholders and end-users.
- Support UAT planning, test case reviews, and defect triage.
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulatory standards and audit requirements.
- Prepare BRD, FRD, process documents, and user manuals as required.
- Track project progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring timely delivery.
Insurance Domain Expertise
- Life Claims Transformation
- Experience working on end-to-end life claims workflows for bothIndividualandGrouplines of business.
- Knowledge of claims adjudication rules, validations, payouts, beneficiary validation, fraud checks, and regulatory compliance.
- Health Claims Transformation (Individual)
- Understanding health claims processing, pre-authorization workflows, medical underwriting, hospitalization claims, billing, and provider networks.
- Group Policy Administration Systems (Life & Credit Life)
- Experience with group policy structures, member enrollment, premium calculations, endorsements, renewals, and group risk assessment.
- Familiarity with credit life insurance workflows and integrations with lending systems.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- 4-12 years of experience in business analysis within the insurance sector, specifically in life, credit, group policy, or health insurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficient in business analysis tools and methodologies, such as UML, BPMN, or similar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with project management tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the insurance industry.
