The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall productivity. Acting as a conduit between users and technology, the Business Analyst will be integral in identifying business challenges and then proposing and delivering solutions. responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems incollaboration with subject matter experts
- Run workshops with stakeholders to gather and document project requirements,ensuring alignment with business objectives and user expectations
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation and cost reduction
- Perform data migration activities
- Develop and manage the knowledgebase and facilitate training sessions with users to assist in change management and the ongoing technological empowerment of the business
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process diagrams
- Support project managers in risk assessment, mitigation planning, and decisionmaking by providing timely and accurate data analysis
- Assist in the development and implementation of project management tools, systems,and methodologies to streamline project execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of business processes with technical solutions
- Build test cases and scenarios and facilitate user acceptance testing
- Review system release notes for new software versions, identifying new features and functions that would be beneficial to the business
- Where required, assist the support desk with application related ticket escalations
- Provide application support and implement configuration changes within our NetSuite environment
- Propose technological solutions for business challenges
- Perform Project Management for smaller scale projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as a technical Business Analyst with project experience in delivering complex NetSuite ERP implementation projects
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proficient in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana
- Experience in the creation of visual modelling (wireframes and work-flow diagrams)
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Proficient in the creation of test plans and cases
- Knowledge of demolition industry practices, regulations, and safety standards is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
