Business Analyst

This role is primarily responsible for owning and documenting product enhancement requirements, as well as preparing end-user documentation. The position will develop Functional Specifications and/or Customer Journeys and collaborate extensively with various business units and cross-functional teams to gather and elicit requirements. These specifications and journeys will serve as the foundation for automation, system development, and system enhancements.

The role will also lead and facilitate workshops or meetings to visualize and design system enhancements and/or new development initiatives. Acting as a liaison between business units and technical teams, the job holder ensures clear communication, alignment, and documentation throughout the development lifecycle.

The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in business system applications, particularly core banking systems, and will act as the lead resource for compliance-related implementations involving BSP and other regulatory requirements.

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum of 4 years experience in building and designing information systems supporting banking operations and/or transaction/payment processing.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Business/System Analyst, applying systems development methodologies, business systems analysis, test verification, and change management processes.
• Strong understanding of IT system design principles that enhance and streamline business processes, including methodologies and project implementation practices.
• Familiarity with business process rules and logic.
• Strong competencies in business and systems analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and working across diverse environments and system architectures.
• Proficiency in key competencies, including data gathering techniques, interview and facilitation techniques, process flow and system documentation, analysis of complex data, business modeling methods, and requirements elicitation techniques.
