Job Summary:
A Business Analyst I is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to support the design and delivery of effective solutions. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand needs, creating clear specifications and process flows, and supporting developers and testers in ensuring alignment with business objectives. The role values strong communication, critical thinking, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements through meetings, interviews, and research.
- Translate stakeholder needs into clean and concise requirement documents, user stories, and process flows.
- Support the preparation of functional specifications to guide developers and QA.
- Collaborate with developers and testers to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation to confirm business needs are met.
- Help identify gaps, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain accurate documentation and update requirements changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide day-to-day support in clarifying requirements and responding to stakeholders inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, or a related role.
- Basic understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to create simple process flows, diagrams, or basic requirement documentation.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledgeable UML diagrams (use case, activity, sequence, etc.) to represent requirements and processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office tools and familiarity with collaboration tools is a plus.
