We are seeking an experienced and motivated multi discipline building services engineering Revit/CAD Designer (design draftee) to share our vision and meet the needs of our expanding Perth office.
The purpose of this role will be to assist your peers with Revit/ CAD drafting on a variety of projects, from inception through to completion.

Responsibilities of this role:
Accountability
Assist peers from all disciplines with the delivery of projects and tasks from inception through to completion, in accordance with the Integrated Management System and Drafting Standards.
Take ownership of all drawing packages issued from the business from handover through to project close, ensuring that documentation is delivered to the highest standard.
Ensure design documentation standards are maintained throughout, with input from all team members, ensuring consistency in all drawing packages across the board.

Assisting the team whilst working remotely and regular communication (Microsoft Team) with the local team in Perth, Western Australia
Role
Report directly to the Director.
Lead the building services multi-disciplinary Revit and CAD drafting.
Liaise with clients, architects and other parties to achieve the highest quality.
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM software.
Assist in the design and documentation of mechanical (HVAC), electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated and clash-free designs.
Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Update and revise drawings based on markups and design changes.
Participate in design meetings and site visits as required.
Support senior drafters and engineers in project delivery.
Create technical drawings, schematics, and 2D and 3D digital models of equipment designs, using measurements, specifications and additional data from engineering team.
Coordinate directly with in-house engineers to understand project requirements, verify design details and recommend modifications as needed according to company standards and best practices.
Work alongside other Engineers on the ongoing project to standardise and unify design document standards by participating in meetings and preparing presentation materials as necessary.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks for clash detection and Bluebeam Revu is preferred.
Basic understanding of building services systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire)
Knowledge on relevant Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications
Good communication and teamwork skills. This will require regular catch up and meeting with the local project team via Microsoft Team or the like.
Willingness to learn and grow within a multi-disciplinary environment Solid understanding of hydraulics and fire protection engineering principles.
Accurate, organised and able to work with minimal supervision. Proven organisational skills organising your own and other peoples workloads.
