Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our condominium and property facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that building systems function efficiently, residents concerns are addressed promptly, and the property is maintained to the highest standards.
The Building Manager is responsible for managing the operations, maintenance, and administration of the building, ensuring safety, functionality, and resident satisfaction. This role involves supervising the engineering and maintenance teams, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and maintaining compliance with building codes and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the building, ensuring all systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, and security) are functioning efficiently.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance, engineering, and janitorial staff.
Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Respond promptly to resident requests, complaints, or emergencies, ensuring timely resolution.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for repair, maintenance, and improvement projects.
Ensure compliance with local building regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, budgets, and reports.
Manage building budgets, procurement of supplies, and cost-control measures.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of all facilities.
Support property management in meetings, audits, and resident orientations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 35 years of experience in building management, facilities management, or a related role.
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and safety regulations.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and work under pressure.
Willingness to respond to emergencies or urgent issues outside regular hours as needed.
