Moder Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly analytical and detailorientedBudget/Financial Analystwith a strong background in theUS mortgage industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring to support datadriven decisionmaking across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Forecasting & Planning
- Utilize historical financial data and economic indicators to develop accurate revenue, expense, and cashflow forecasts.
- Work closely with department leaders to build annual operating budgets and longterm financial plans aligned with organizational goals.
Budget Management & Performance Monitoring
- Track actual expenditures against approved budgets, identifying variances and analyzing root causes.
- Recommend timely corrective actions to maintain financial control and support operational efficiency.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses including costbenefit reviews, ROI assessments, and trend analyses for new initiatives or existing programs.
- Prepare periodic financial and operational reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Compliance & Internal Controls
- Ensure all financial activities adhere to company guidelines, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Assist in enhancing internal processes to strengthen financial governance.
Qualifications
- 35 years of experiencein a Budget Analyst or Financial Analyst role within theUS Mortgage industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Technical proficiency:
- Expert inLoanVision
- Proficient inPower BIfor data visualization and reporting
- Advanced skills inMicrosoft Excel(formulas, pivot tables, data modeling)
- Bachelor's degree inFinance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information to both financial and nonfinancial stakeholders.
- Amenable to work in Cebu City or Alabang site.
