Job Description

You will be required to assist in all aspects of the mortgage broking and lending administration processes, which may at times extend beyond the duties listed below.

Managing the day-to-day loan process, including following up on outstanding documentation, packaging loan applications, and liaising with lenders to efficiently support client outcomes. This will require you to coordinate valuations, credit checks, and lender requirements while ensuring all applications are accurate, compliant, and progressing in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for keeping clients and stakeholders updated throughout the process.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Set up and manage loan applications within the CRM system (e.g., SalesTrekker).
  • Request, review, and organise client documents, ensuring completeness and correct formatting.
  • Conduct lender policy research to determine suitable lending options.
  • Order valuations, pricing requests, and credit reports, and track their progress.
  • Prepare and upload applications via lender portals such as ApplyOnline.
  • Package and submit loans from inception through to settlement.
  • Manage and follow up on lender conditions and outstanding requirements.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure all compliance documentation is completed.
  • Coordinate settlement processes, including tracking booking and confirmations.
  • Send post-settlement communications to clients and update systems accordingly.
  • Conduct post-settlement reviews (12-month and 24-month), including pricing checks, valuations, and refinance assessments.
  • Assist in workflow and task management using internal systems (e.g., Microsoft Teams) to track progress and priorities.

You will be fully trained in the specific requirements of the role and will be responsible for prioritising your daily workload. We encourage continuous improvement and team development, including enhancing internal processes, client communication, and maintaining a strong understanding of lender policies and market updates.

Requirements:

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in mortgage broking or loan processing, preferably within the Australian lending market.
  • Experience in end-to-end loan application processing is required.
  • Proficiency in ApplyOnline and SalesTrekker is required, along with familiarity with other relevant mortgage processing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian lender policies and processes is highly regarded.
  • Experience working with major Australian lenders is an advantage.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders professionally.
