Job Summary
As Brand Manager you will lead the development, innovation and execution of brand strategies that drive brand growth, market share, and profitability, by managing brand positioning, marketing initiatives, product innovation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver strong consumer engagement and business results.
Job Responsibilities
Brand Strategy and Positioning
- Develop and implement the brand strategy and annual brand plan aligned with business objectives.
- Define and strengthen the brand positioning, target audience, and value proposition.
- Ensure brand communication and marketing activities are consistent with brand identity and strategy.
Marketing Campaign Development
- Plan, develop, and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, offline, and retail channels.
- Work with creative teams to develop compelling brand messaging and campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on data and insights.
Product and Innovation Management
- Lead product launches, improvements, and innovation initiatives to support brand growth.
- Identify market opportunities through consumer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis.
- Coordinate with regulatory teams to bring new products to market.
- Innovate, develop and execute new related business for Best Shape.
Market and Consumer Insights
- Analyze market data, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Track brand performance through market share, brand health metrics, and sales data.
- Translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales and Ecomm teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of brand initiatives.
- Works with Sales and Ecomm Teams with brand programs and marketing materials that drive sell-through.
Budget and Performance Management
- Manage the brand marketing budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Monitor ROI of marketing investments and optimize spending to maximize brand impact.
Team Leadership, Training, and Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the brand or marketing team to ensure strong execution of brand initiatives.
- Conduct training and capability-building sessions to strengthen the teams understanding of brand strategy, product knowledge, and marketing best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and performance excellence within the team.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and coaching to support the professional growth of team members.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with fitness influencers, gym partners, and internal creative teams to amplify the brand mission.
Event Execution
- Lead on-ground activations and wellness programs.
Please note:This role requires a hands-on approach and the willingness to attend and oversee brand events held on weekends or holidays as needed
Job Requirements
- Education: College Graduate with a degree in Marketing/Advertising/Business related course
- Experience: 35 years in Brand Management including managing marketing campaigns, leading projects and team, preferably within FMCG, Wellness, Beauty or Lifestyle industries.
- Related Training: Brand Management courses, Marketing Analytics training
- Personal Passion: A genuine interest in sports, fitness, or physical activities. We need a Brand Manager who understands the sweat life and can authentically connect with our core audience.
- Communication: Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills; must be able to influence both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to translate sales data and market research into actionable brand plans.
Work Setup
- Hybrid Work Arrangement: Enjoy a Work-From-Home (WFH) focused setup, with a requirement to be onsite only once a week (and as needed for specific project alignments).
