Job Description

Key Functions

Drives revenue and profitability growth of the assigned brand/s

  • Develops the brand portfolio strategy and identifies potential new products based on comprehensive research of market trends and opportunities, consumer latent needs, and key business insights that will generate competitive advantage of PC versus other DS and retail brands.
  • Develops specific brand strategies and initiatives to optimize the profitability of assigned brand
  • Responsible for strengthening and building the brand and their positioning in existing markets that we operate in, as well as pursuing opportunities to tap new markets
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of a 360-degree brand communication strategy to articulate brand story and positioning, build its image, develop brand awareness and loyalty, and reinforce its reputation and relevance over time.

Oversees the execution and implementation of plans to ensure brand goals and objectives are achieved

  • Oversees the daily operations of the brand and ensures that all operational tasks are executed with quality and timeliness
  • Ensures that brand margins and revenue targets are consistently achieved and monitored, and identifies strategies to improve both metrics
  • Ensures that accurate demand forecasts are developed, and that product availability is achieved through collaboration with Supply Chain and Commercial Operations team, and that promotions/ activities are cost-effective and well-aligned with key cross-functional
  • Undertakes tight monitoring of competitor product portfolio, pricing, specifications, promotions, marketing programs and activities, merchandising, and proactively prepares plans to preserve PC's competitive advantage
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop well-thought-out and well-executed strategies for assigned brand

Drives creative thinking and innovative approaches for strategies of assigned brands

  • Continuously researches consumer trends and innovations
  • Spearheads execution of innovative strategies for assigned brand while ensuring all risks have been studied

Reviews success of previous orders to determine the extent to which inventory should be replenished

  • Analyzes performance per style, per size, per color, per branch. Report submission as input to monthly supply replenishment per branch and guide for new style launches.

Collaborates with Research & Data Analytics teams to create the utmost brand strategies that will optimize the category.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of brand management and brand building experience in consumer fashion retail, merchandising & buying experience in Wacoal, Triumph, or Uniqlo is a plus
  • Insightful and able to do incisive market analysis, draws the implications and next steps
  • Proven track record in communication development driven by expertise in brand development and creation of brand positioning/value proposition, purpose, mission, and values.
  • Proven high performer who demonstrates key differential characteristics: high level of humility and openness, self-directed, collaborative, and persistent
  • Must exhibit passion for innovation, growth (of the brand and business), and sustainability
  • Balance of creative and strategic thinking and ability to execute, end-to-end management, and deliver results
  • Can communicate well with leaders on all levels, both inside and outside of the organization
  • Can manage complexity and changes in business environment
