The Brand Manager is responsible for delivering brand sales revenue, volume, market share, and profit targets while effectively managing investments and portfolio strategy. He/she will drive sustainable brand growth through superior innovation, strong consumer and market insights, and impactful marketing execution. This includes developing and implementing both short-term and long-term marketing plans, managing A&P investments, optimizing portfolio performance, and ensuring overall brand health and competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term brand plans aligned with overall business strategy
- Contribute to brand vision and commercial growth through bold, innovative ideas and strong go-to-market strategies
- Build and manage innovation and renovation pipelines based on consumer insights and market opportunities
- Monitor brand performance, health metrics, and financial KPIs (sales, share, margins, profitability)
- Manage the 4Ps (Product, Price, Placement, Promotion) to drive competitiveness and growth
- Lead the development of communication strategies with media, digital, research, and creative agencies
- Oversee product development, packaging improvements, and new SKU launches
- Prepare forecasts and budgets; monitor A&P investments and overall brand spending
- Conduct market and consumer research to identify trends and growth opportunities
- Maintain updated tracking on sales performance, gross profit, pricing, and competitive activities
