This is a remote position.

As our Brand & Content Marketing Specialist, you will:

  • Refine and articulate our brand identity, working with existing brand assets to build a cohesive and compelling brand voice and narrative.
  • Build and deliver templates for key documents (Word, PowerPoint, etc.), ensuring consistency in design and style across internal and external communications.
  • Develop a brand-guide or style guide: defining how we communicate visually and verbally (fonts, colors, tone, formatting, structure, etc.), based on our existing brand assets.
  • Create storytelling content about our brand: who we are, our mission, values, history, and how we present ourselves to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Understand business goals, messaging needs, and adapt brand communications accordingly.
  • Provide guidance on how to apply the brand identity across materials (presentations, proposals, reports, marketing collateral).

Requirements

  • Has experience with brand identity development and content/brand storytelling, even if no new logo/design work is needed, you know how to build and refine a brand around existing assets.
  • Is skilled with document and presentation tools (e.g. Word, PowerPoint), with a strong eye for layout, formatting, consistency, and ease-of-use.
  • Has excellent writing and storytelling skills, you can translate ideas and values into clear, engaging language that aligns with a brand's voice.
  • Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work autonomously as a remote contractor.
  • Is collaborative and communicative: able to work with stakeholders to understand needs and feedback, and translate them into tangible brand materials.
  • Has prior experience building brand guides or style guides, working with existing brand assets (colors, fonts, logos, imagery), and aligning documents/materials to them.
  • Comfortable working as an independent contractor
