Job Summary
Oversees day-to-day branch operations, service delivery, and compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. Ensures strong operational controls, excellent customer experience, employee engagement, and achievement of productivity and sales targets while maintaining zero operational losses.
Key Responsibilities
Operations, Compliance & Risk
- Supervise daily branch operations in compliance with BSP regulations, bank policies, and Code of Conduct
- Maintain zero operational losses through strong internal controls, audits, and risk management
- Ensure timely resolution of audit findings and regulatory issues
- Safeguard branch assets, cash, records, and security standards
- Coordinate with internal auditors, BSP examiners, and regulators
Financial Performance & Sales
- Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and productivity
- Lead in-branch selling and telesales of bank products
- Monitor and achieve branch and telesales targets
Customer Experience
- Ensure high service quality and adherence to service standards
- Manage customer complaints and feedback within prescribed timelines
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners
People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop branch officers and service staff
- Conduct regular meetings, performance reviews, and staff briefings
- Ensure proper staffing, training, rotation, and discipline
Qualifications
- College graduate of any business course
- At least 3 years of banking experience in a supervisory role in branch operations
- Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills
- Excellent marketing, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficient in oral and written communication, including the local dialect
