The position is primarily responsible for securing and maintaining all necessary licenses, permits, and regulatory documents required for the establishment and continuous operation of new and existing branches under the Branch Sales Group. The role ensures full compliance with government regulatory requirements.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepares and submits all required documents to regulatory agencies such as the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Local Government Units (LGUs), and other relevant government bodies.
- Processes and renews necessary permits and licenses for new and existing pawnshop branches in compliance with BIR and other regulatory requirements.
- Facilitates payment of licenses, permits, and other regulatory fees in accordance with Department of Finance circulars and local ordinances.
- Conducts inventory of official receipts and secures BIR authority to print additional receipts when necessary.
- Coordinates with Financial Reporting Compliance regarding documentary requirements for BIR, LGU, and BSP registration and renewals.
- Performs branch mapping and inspections to ensure that all required permits and regulatory documents are properly displayed, and checks inventory levels of official receipts during visits.
- Manages the settlement of BIR tax mapping violations, including assistance during examinations of pawnshop books of accounts and handling inspections conducted by LGUs.
- Coordinates with concerned units regarding compliance-related issues affecting branch operations.
- Maintains proper filing and safekeeping of branch registration documents and records.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or any Business-related course.
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, permits processing, or related field.
- Knowledgeable in BSP, SEC, and DTI regulations, as well as finance circulars and local ordinances.
- Familiar with government permit processing procedures.
- Willing to travel and conduct fieldwork as needed.
- Willing to be assigned in Pampanga.
