Bookkeeper

Location: Cebu
Work Arrangement: Onsite, Fulltime
Shift: 9:00PM - 6:00AM | Monday - Friday

About this role. . .

We are currently seeking a full-time Bookkeeper to join our team. This role supports multiple small business and individual clients and requires strong attention to detail, organization, and accountability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Record transactions, reconcile accounts, and maintain general ledgers in QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) for multiple client accounts
  • Prepare financial reports for assigned small business and individual clients
  • Run client payroll, submit payroll tax payments, and prepare and file federal and state payroll tax forms
  • Prepare and file sales and use tax returns, including processing related payments
  • Complete simple to intermediate individual income tax returns using TaxWise with limited oversight
  • Manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines and maintaining strong organization
  • Work professionally in an in-office public accounting environment and maintain accountability for assigned work

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Experience preparing individual income tax returns
  • Familiarity with TaxWise or similar tax preparation software
  • Prior experience in a public accounting or CPA firm environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in bookkeeping and maintaining accurate general ledgers
  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop (QBD)
  • Experience running payroll and handling payroll tax payments and filings
  • Experience preparing and filing sales and use tax returns
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and work independently with minimal supervision
