Job Description

The Booking Salesman is responsible for visiting assigned customers or outlets to take product orders (bookings), promote company products, maintain good customer relationships, and ensure achievement of sales targets. The role ensures that customer orders are properly recorded and coordinated with the warehouse and delivery team for timely distribution.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Sales and Order Booking
  • Visit assigned stores, groceries, supermarkets, and other customers according to the daily route plan.
  • Take product orders from customers and ensure accurate booking of items and quantities.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by the company.
  • Promote and introduce company products to customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Maintain good relationships with store owners, managers, and purchasing personnel.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding products, deliveries, and pricing.
  • Identify potential new customers within the assigned territory.
  • Product Monitoring and Merchandising
  • Monitor product availability and stock levels in customer stores.
  • Ensure proper product display and visibility in outlets when necessary.
  • Check for damaged or expired products and report to management.
  • Coordination with Warehouse and Delivery
  • Submit booking orders to the office or warehouse for processing.
  • Coordinate with delivery personnel to ensure correct and timely delivery of products.
  • Follow up on pending orders and delivery schedules.
  • Sales Reporting
  • Prepare and submit daily booking reports and sales reports.
  • Provide updates on customer feedback, competitor products, and market trends.
  • Report new opportunities for increasing sales.

Qualifications

  • At least Senior High School or College Level.
  • With experience in sales or booking in FMCG / food products is an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be hardworking, trustworthy, and goal-oriented.
  • Familiar with assigned sales territory or willing to do fieldwork.
  • Preferably with motorcycle and valid drivers license (if required by the company).
