About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled BIM Technician/Coordinator to support their Building Services team. You will develop and manage MEP BIM models, ensure accurate coordination across disciplines, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality design and construction documentation for large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Conduct clash detection, resolve conflicts, and update models to reflect design changes.
- Produce 2D/3D drawings, schedules, and other deliverables in line with project standards and BIM Execution Plans.
- Support 4D sequencing, construction simulations, and documentation for complex projects.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure integration across disciplines.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and maintain effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company BIM standards, project specifications, and industry best practices.
- Assist in reviewing design documents, specifications, and shop drawings to maintain constructability and design integrity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 58 years of experience in BIM modeling for building services or large infrastructure projects (e.g., airports, rail, data centers, correctional facilities).
- Proficient in 3D Revit modeling; ability to prepare 2D Revit documentation.
- Familiarity with BIM protocols, standards, and processes.
- Strong coordination and communication skills with peers, managers, and clients.
- Capable of performing technical tasks independently and delivering solutions that optimize project outcomes.
