About the Role
We're looking for a skilled BIM Technician to join an international team. You'll work closely with BIM Managers and project teams to ensure high-quality model deliverables, streamline coordination, and support the design-to-construction workflow across diverse, large-scale building services projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across multiple sectors.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure clash-free designs and smooth integration across disciplines.
- Conduct clash detection, resolve modeling conflicts, and update BIM models to reflect design changes.
- Produce 2D/3D drawings, schedules, and other deliverables in compliance with BIM Execution Plans and project standards.
- Support 4D sequencing, construction simulations, and documentation for complex projects.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and contribute to effective communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensure models comply with company BIM standards, project specifications, and industry best practices.
- Assist in reviewing design documents, specifications, and shop drawings to maintain design integrity and constructability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 5-8 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in building services, data centers, or large infrastructure projects (airports, rail links/stations, correctional facilities).
- Ability to undertake key technical tasks independently across a broad rangeof small to medium profile projects.
- Developing 3D Revit Skills
- Demonstrated ability to apply company standards, BIM Protocol and Process.
- Ability to prepare to do 2D Revit documentation with company standards and BIM Protocol
- Developing communication skills (Written and Oral communication) with peers, Team Leaders, Manager and Client
- Developing capacity to deliver best client outcomes/options which have saved the client cost/time.
