Role Overview
We are looking for a BIM Modeller (UD2 Civil & Structural) to support our Singapore C&S team across infrastructure and urban development projects. This role involves BIM modelling, coordination, and detailing for civil and structural works, with exposure to multidisciplinary collaboration and regulatory submissions in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce BIM models including preparation of general arrangement plans and schedules
- Provide BIM modelling and drafting support to the Singapore Civil & Structural (C&S) team
- Prepare sewer, drainage, and traffic plans
- Produce reinforced concrete detailing, including box culverts and box drains
- Generate quantity schedules using BIM tools
- Perform BIM model federation, coordination, and clash detection
- Collaborate closely with Civil & Structural, Architectural, and MEP teams, both locally and overseas
- Support BIM coordination meetings and resolve design and modelling issues
- Ensure deliverables meet project requirements, quality standards, and timelines
Requirements:
Education
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Experience & Technical Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with exposure to sewer, drainage, and road works
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with:
- Archicad (preferred)
- Revit
- AutoCAD
- Experience in structural modelling and detailing for civil infrastructure
- Familiarity with Dynamo, Grasshopper, Navisworks, or Solibri is an advantage
- Experience in BIM coordination, model federation, and clash detection
- Ability to interpret Architectural and MEP drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Regulatory Knowledge
- Experience and understanding of Singapore authority submission requirements, including:
- LTA
- PUB (Sewer & Drainage)
- NPARKS
- Candidates without full regulatory exposure are welcome, as on-the-job training will be provided
Soft Skills
- Passionate about 3D structural modelling and high-quality 2D detailing
- Strong communication skills, able to liaise with local and overseas teams or clients
- Good work ethics, time management, and adaptability, especially under tight deadlines
- Able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment
