About the Client
Our client is a Singapore-founded (2018) co-living company providing flexible, fully furnished, and serviced apartments for young professionals and students in Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, and South Korea.
What you'll do:
- You will be the technical engine behind our Design Team, ensuring that our vision for flexible living comes to life efficiently and accurately. You won't just be drafting; you will be leveraging the latest AI technology to speed up workflows and optimize space planning for our expanding portfolio.
- High-Fidelity Modeling: Translate conceptual designs and 2D sketches into detailed LOD 300/400 Revit models for interior fit-outs, including MEP coordination and joinery details.
- AI-Driven Workflow Integration: Utilize AI-powered Revit plugins and generative design tools (e.g., Veras, TestFit, Hypar, or proprietary scripts) to automate rapid feasibility studies, space planning, and test-fits for new potential properties.
- Documentation & Standards: Generate accurate documentation sets, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and schedules. Maintain and update the BIM Library/Family to ensure brand consistency across thousands of rooms.
- Visualization: Produce quick, AI-enhanced renders and 3D visualizations to assist stakeholders in decision-making during the early design stages.
- Clash Detection & Quality Control: Run clash detection reports to identify design conflicts early and ensure all models adhere to Singapore BIM standards and regulatory requirements.
- Process Optimization: Continuously research and implement new AI tools or Dynamo scripts to automate repetitive drafting tasks, tagging, and room data sheet generation.
What you bring:
- You are tech-savvy, precise, and excited about the intersection of architecture and artificial intelligence. You understand that doing it the way we've always done it isn't enough to scale to the next level.
- Technical Mastery: 3+ years of professional experience in Interior Design or Architecture with expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
- AI & Automation Skillset: Demonstrated experience or strong familiarity with AI tools for architecture (e.g., Midjourney for mood boarding, Veras/EvolveLab for rendering) and visual programming (Dynamo or Grasshopper).
- Drafting Precision: Strong knowledge of construction detailing, joinery, and local building codes (BCA standards).
- Software Proficiency: Competency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Problem Solver: You enjoy troubleshooting technical Revit issues and finding hacks or scripts to make work faster.
- The Cove Attitude: You are adaptable, eager to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where we work hard but keep the atmosphere fun and authentic.
