Job Description

Your Role

The BIM Manager serves as a studio-embedded digital delivery lead, supporting project teams in applying BIM standards, managing information model environments, and maintaining the quality and reliability of digital deliverables across assigned studios.

With a strong foundation in digital project delivery—including multi-disciplinary collaboration, creative and technical design development, and construction documentation—this role brings a practical, project-first perspective to the application of BIM methodologies and emerging technologies.

Working closely with studio leaders and project teams, the BIM Manager helps embed best practices, strengthen team capability, and contribute to the ongoing refinement of the firm's digital delivery approach.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • BIM Synthesis – Apply project experience and design knowledge to interpret and translate architectural intent into BIM modelling decisions, supporting project teams in maintaining alignment between design development and digital model output. Assist in the development of the project library and families as needed by the project.
  • BIM Process Owner – Serve as the primary BIM lead for assigned studios, embedded within project teams and accountable for the quality, consistency, and compliance of all BIM deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Enforcement of BIM Execution Plan & Protocols – Develop, implement, and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) platform, ensure alignment on LOD/LOI across projects, and uphold other protocols and standards stipulated within the BEP. Establish and maintain BIM protocols, modelling standards, and project templates across assigned studios, ensuring consistency in authoring practices for both Revit and ArchiCAD environments.
  • BIM Advisory – Provide guidance on model federation and clash coordination—including setup, workflows, version control, and publishing—while effectively facilitating multi-disciplinary discussions, delivering training, and producing clear documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Internal BIM Audit and Quality Management – Administer and conduct regular information model audits and quality control reviews across project phases, identifying issues related to model integrity, coordination gaps, and documentation completeness, and work with project teams to resolve them proactively.
  • BIM Training and Development – Lead the training and competency development of studio team members in BIM authoring platforms, coordination tools, and digital delivery workflows, including onboarding of new staff and ongoing skill assessments to support the firm's capability-building goals.
  • Technology Synthesis and Adoption – Drive the identification, piloting, and implementation of AI-augmented and automation-assisted workflows across design and documentation processes—including scripting tools such as Dynamo and Python—with a proactive orientation toward continuous improvement and the practical adoption of emerging digital technologies within the studio environment.

Technical Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related built environment discipline; a professional license in Architecture is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in a BIM-focused role within an architecture, engineering, or construction firm, with meaningful exposure to project delivery across multiple typologies and phases.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with both Autodesk platforms and Graphisoft platforms on live projects, including multi-disciplinary coordination and construction documentation deliverables.
  • Proven experience in authoring or implementing BIM Execution Plans and BIM protocols on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Broad exposure to construction, site coordination, and the full building lifecycle, sufficient to contextualize BIM deliverables within real project and construction requirements.
  • Knowledge of applicable Philippine building regulations, including the National Building Code (NBC), BP 344, and RA 9514, particularly as they relate to model-based compliance checking and documentation.

Platform Knowledge Qualifications

  • Graphisoft Platforms – Archicad
  • Rhinoceros & Grasshopper
  • Autodesk Platforms – Forma, Navisworks, Civil 3D, Revit, Dynamo
  • Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Microsoft Power Platform
