Main Activities and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
- Manages small, medium and large scale BIM Models for Mechanical, Electrical and Sanitary (Hydraulic) services using Revit MEP and CAD by agreeing drawing strategy, type and size of drawings and drawing numbering with project engineer, and suggesting methods of drawing production to ensure efficient methods of working.
- Assists CAD/BIM Manager or Lead BIM Coordinator in estimation and costing of CAD/BIM projects based on client's inputs.
- Assists CAD/BIM Manager or Lead BIM Coordinator in agreeing project schedule and delivery program.
- Sets up BIM models to the project standards and liaises with Model Managers, Lead BIM Coordinator and team members.
- Creates work sets, work-sharing methodologies in Revit models.
- Resources planning for projects.
- Flags resource concerns in advance to CAD/BIM Manager or Lead BIM Coordinator.
- Prepares plant room layouts, sections, details and coordinated services drawings.
- Agrees priorities and deadlines for drawing/model production with CAD/BIM Manager or Lead BIM Coordinator.
- Provides input to the co-ordination of engineering services on projects.
- Develops general arrangement drawings from engineers, sketches and other design team member drawings and details and develop sketches into coordinated building details.
- Discusses and agree setting out and building services details with other members of the team. Work with project team members on specified aspects of the project ensuring all relevant standards and guides are used in accordance with WSP QA processes.
- Completes design sketches for information in tender documents for small / routine work.
- Follow and produces work per specified WSP CAD standards as well as WA, document control and archiving. Suggests revisions to standards as appropriate.
- Provides advice and coaching to CAD/BIM staff on BIM/ Revit functions when requested.
- Adopts new technologies and implements in the office and provide training for the team. Implements best practices on process improvement works.
- Comply with all role specific SHEQ obligations.
- Lead and advise on the mitigation of project delivery risk.
- Perform duties as requested from time to time.

Qualifications
Qualifications (Minimum and Desirable):
- Bachelor's Degree (Engineering/Science) or Equivalent
- Leadership Training
Experience, Skills And Organisational Knowledge
- Typically, 5+ years experience.
- Strong technical expertise across a broad range of projects.
- High Skills in applying company standards, BIM Protocol and Process
- Highly competent in communicating with peers, Team Leaders, Manager and Client. Both with written and oral communication)
- Good leadership capability.
- Highly competent in managing the scope of complex multiple large scale projects.
- Skilled in applying company standards, BIM Protocol and Process
- Aware of the business organisational structure, capability and how to access it
