BIM Coordinator

The BIM Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and reflecting Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across architectural, structural, MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection), and multidisciplinary project teams included in the project. This role ensures the accurate development, integration, and maintenance of BIM models throughout the project lifecycle while supporting project delivery, quality assurance, and compliance with company and industry BIM standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Produce BIM models with accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards using Revit software or similar.
• Prepare BIM coordination reports, presentations and progress updates.
• Ensure models are developed and maintained in accordance with project requirements.
• Facilitate collaboration between architectural, structural, and MEPF teams involved with the project.
• Produce BIM models with accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards using Revit software or similar.
• Perform clash detection using Revit software or similar.
• Analyze clashes and coordinate resolutions with project teams and generate clash reports and monitor issue resolution.
• Support project teams in generating drawings, schedules, quantities, and other project deliverables from BIM models.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in BS Architecture, BS Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of BIM experience within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
• Proficient or knowledgeable in Revit and Autocad software.
• Experience in commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments/projects is an advantage.
• Familiarity with BIM Level of Development (LOD) standards.
• Knowledge of construction documentation and building systems.
• Ability to perform clash detection and model audits.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
