Job Description

A leading global organisation is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join their highly collaborative and inclusive BI function based in Makati. This role offers you the opportunity to design, build, and maintain Power BI reporting solutions that drive decision-making across HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Procurement. You will be part of a globally distributed team with colleagues in London, Manila, India, and Tokyo, where shared ownership of quality and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything they do.

What you'll do:

As a Business Intelligence Developer in Makati, you will play a pivotal role in designing impactful Power BI dashboards that inform key decisions across various departments. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand their needs before translating these into robust reporting solutions. You will manage the entire lifecycle of BI projects-from initial requirements gathering through development, testing, validation, and production-ensuring each solution meets the highest standards of quality. By supporting core workstreams such as building new reports, refreshing existing suites, and managing data source changes, you will help maintain the relevance and accuracy of business intelligence outputs. Working within an agile framework using tools like JIRA will allow you to lead project cycles efficiently while contributing ideas during roadmap planning sessions. Your involvement in daily stand-ups will keep you connected with your global teammates as you collectively strive for continuous improvement. Additionally, you will provide informal guidance to junior colleagues when needed-helping nurture a supportive environment where everyone can succeed together.

  • Designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports tailored for internal stakeholders across multiple business functions including HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Procurement.
  • Owning end-to-end BI delivery by managing requirements gathering through to production deployment while ensuring accuracy and reliability of reporting solutions.
  • Leading epics and project cycles using JIRA and agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
  • Contributing actively to BI roadmap planning and prioritisation by sharing insights and collaborating with peers on future initiatives.
  • Supporting three core workstreams: building new reports from scratch based on stakeholder needs; reviewing and refreshing existing reporting suites for enhanced performance; managing data source changes efficiently to maintain data integrity.
  • Working collaboratively with a global BI team to review, test, validate outputs, and share best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Providing guidance and informal support to junior team members when required to foster knowledge sharing and communal success.
  • Engaging regularly with stakeholders to understand their requirements, communicate progress updates, and ensure satisfaction with delivered solutions.
  • Participating in daily stand-ups and other team rituals that promote transparency, accountability, and collective problem-solving.
  • Maintaining documentation for all BI solutions developed to ensure clarity for future enhancements or troubleshooting.
