Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Canada Segment colleagues to develop, maintain, test, and update business continuity plans
Provide guidance to stakeholders on compliance with Global BCM policies, standards, procedures, and regulations
Ensure business and technology recovery requirements support continuity of critical processes
Implement and maintain performance, risk, and remediation metrics aligned to strategic objectives
Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and align business and technology recovery objectives
Advise on business continuity strategies based on business needs, industry trends, and best practices
Ensure approved BC strategies are effectively implemented and maintained
Partner with frontline leaders to develop BCPs and document BIAs, risks, and mitigation plans on time
Collect and validate BCM information, reviewing the quality of contingency plans for disruptive events
Plan and facilitate BC tests and exercises, document results, update BCPs accordingly, and support BCM contacts
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
Proficient methodical experience in Business Continuity Management professional practices
Experience in Business Continuity Management Software and Emergency Notification Systems
Working knowledge of the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Business Process Management (BPM), Shared Services/In-House Center Operations, Insurance and/or Banking industry environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification from Business Continuity Institute (CBCI), DRI International (CBCP), or equivalent experience is preferred
Good project management skills
Flexible on shift to meet business deadlines
Organized, detail-oriented with strong focus to deliver targeted outcomes
Strong interpersonal skills to interface with stakeholders of various levels in the organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
