Job Summary:
The Bank Relationship Manager (Commercial Banking) is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial clients, providing tailored financial solutions, and ensuring strong client relationships. This role requires a combination of business development, credit assessment, and advisory skills to drive revenue growth while maintaining risk and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, manage, and grow relationships with commercial clients, including SMEs, mid-market, and corporate accounts.
- Identify client needs and provide appropriate banking products and solutions such as loans, cash management, trade finance, and treasury services.
- Conduct financial analysis, credit assessments, and risk evaluation for potential and existing clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new commercial clients and expand existing relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., credit, treasury, risk, and operations) to deliver seamless banking solutions.
- Monitor client accounts and ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and periodic reports on portfolio performance and growth opportunities.
- Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to provide strategic insights to clients.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in commercial banking or corporate banking relationship management.
- Strong understanding of commercial lending, cash management, trade finance, and risk assessment.
- Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong financial modeling and credit assessment capabilities.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
