Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct periodic compliance testing of Branches, BLUs, and Head Office Units to ensure adherence to BSP and other regulatory requirements; prepare testing reports.
- Recommend corrective actions to address compliance gaps and improve bank operations.
- Track and follow up on compliance issues, updating monitoring reports as needed.
- Ensure internal policies align with BSP, SEC, PDIC, AMLC, and other regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in drafting and maintaining operational guidelines and procedural policies.
- Maintain and regularly update the Compliance library of banking laws, regulations, and BSP issuances.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in financial services or banking, specifically in compliance, risk management, or corporate governance.
- Strong understanding of audit principles, compliance frameworks, and BSP regulations.
- Skilled in data analysis, risk assessment, and report writing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently or in a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or related fields.
