You own the development, maintenance, and optimization of high-performance backend systems and customer-facing platforms for a long-standing automotive solutions provider. Your work directly impacts the stability and security of scraper systems, existing dashboards, and innovative new product builds.

This is not a generalist support role; you operate within a structured LAMP stack environment where you are responsible for writing clean, stable code and managing complex API integrations. Best suited for developers who value technical ownership, thrive in sprint-based delivery cycles, and prefer clear performance metrics over shifting priorities.

YOU'RE LIKELY A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE

• 2+ years of professional experience writing PHP in a production environment.
• Expertise in OOP/MVC PHP frameworks, specifically Laravel or Yii.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced capability with MySQL, Node.js, and API development/management.
• Frontend Competency: 2+ years of experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
• Tools & Version Control: Proven experience using Git or Bitbucket within a collaborative team.
• Structural Constraints: Ability to work a consistent day shift (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM) in a dedicated remote environment.

STRONG SIGNALS

• AWS Cloud experience or AWS Certification.
• Experience building or maintaining web scrapers and data indexing scripts.

You own the backend heartbeat of the platform—ensuring systems perform consistently and downtime is prevented.

• Design and build backend solutions for new and existing customer platforms.
• Maintain and enhance the existing dashboard and scraper systems.
• Write standalone scripts to fix, re-index, or clean up legacy data.

Technical Architecture & Stability

You ensure the integrity of the system by prioritizing code stability and simplicity.

• Review and debug code to eliminate risks to the software or business.
• Manage API integrations and ensure seamless data protection across applications.
• Produce technical documentation and provide accurate project scopes and estimates.

Sprint Execution & Delivery

You operate within a high-accountability framework focused on velocity and accuracy.

• Complete all assigned tasks successfully within designated sprint cycles.
• Harvest time correctly to maintain transparent cycle-time metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical builds with business requirements.
